Business Coaching 

Tom Pritchard provides real hands on help in the areas the owner defines.  This includes expanding the business, transitioning the ownership, improving cash flow, improving sales, improving profits, improving their human resource outcomes and reducing costs.  As an accredited executive associate of the Institute for Independent Business (IIB), Tom has an extensive network of IIB associates with expertise in every field you can imagine.  Each executive associate is a mature business person who has held multiple executive level positions throughout their career.  They come from all walks of life and bring experience from all management and technical disciplines.  Through the Business Support Program (BSP), we offer a base program of 4 to 16 hours advisory services each month for 12 months of hands on assistance.  The BSP can be adjusted at any time and cancelled at any time at the request of either party.  Given a particular situation, we will sub-contract work to other associates based upon the needs of the business and the associate’s expertise.  In most situations, these sub-contracted hours are covered by the monthly contribution.  In those special situations where the need is greater, I shall propose a separate agreement to cover the situation as a special project.

The initial business chat is free and it is simply a time we can discuss the business owner’s challenges and opportunities and explore ideas.  At the conclusion of the discussion I will offer my observations, advice, suggestions, or simply confirm the business is on the right track.  If the owner request assistance with his/her business, I will share with him/her how the Business Support Program works, its cost and what they can expect from our services.

Most business owners got started in their business because he/she was good at something, a good technician.  Before long, it becomes evident to the owner that there is more to running a business than being just a good “technician”.  This is where Tom can work with you, the business owner, to grow the business, increase your sales and profits, improve your marketing, and to develop your organization to be more effective.  We always “begin with the end in mind” and build on a solid foundation.

My mission is to empower the business owner by utilizing the owner’s experience and learned knowledge along with professional business skills to increase the value of the business.  This is accomplished by building respect, offer advice that is in their best interest to improve their business by accomplishing the owner’s goals.
